The Columbus Wizards fell to the Kokomo Bobkats 115–111 at home in a hard-fought contest that saw Columbus mount a strong second-half comeback.

Kokomo established control early, building momentum from the opening tip while the Wizards struggled to find rhythm offensively. The Bobkats’ efficiency and pace led to a 20-point halftime deficit, putting Columbus in an early hole.

But the response told the story.

Columbus came out of the break with renewed energy, chipping away possession by possession and tightening defensively. The Wizards steadily cut into the lead, turning the game into a competitive battle down the stretch before ultimately coming up just short.

Despite the result, Columbus delivered an efficient offensive performance, shooting 55.4 percent (46-of-83) from the field and converting 88.2 percent (15-of-17) from the free throw line. However, 25 turnovers limited opportunities to fully complete the comeback.

Jay Farrow led all scorers with 28 points on 11-of-18 shooting, continuing his consistent offensive production.

Josiah Fulcher and Mat Bingaya each added 16 points, providing steady scoring and energy throughout the game.

Jaiveon Eaves contributed 15 points and 5 assists, helping fuel the second-half push, while Jalen Robinson recorded a double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds, continuing to anchor the interior.

Michael Davenport filled the stat sheet with 9 points, 8 rebounds, and 3 assists, and RJ Fairrow added 8 points and 4 rebounds, contributing across multiple areas.

Kokomo matched Columbus’ efficiency, shooting 57.1 percent (48-of-84) from the field and knocking down 8 three-pointers at a 40.0 percent clip.

The Bobkats were led by Martavian Payne with 21 points, while Corey Boyd added 18 points and 10 rebounds. Larry Plummer contributed 17 points, including four three-pointers, and Josh Rivers and Devin Harris added 16 and 14 points, respectively.

Off the court, the night featured strong community energy, highlighted by a halftime performance from The Little Gym of Polaris, which brought additional excitement to The Rike Center.

The crowd remained engaged throughout the comeback effort, providing a strong home-court atmosphere as the Wizards battled back into the game.

With the loss, the Columbus Wizards move to 6–4 on the season.

While the result didn’t go their way, the second-half response reinforced the identity of this group:

They don’t fold. They respond.
