Wizards Complete Doubleheader Sweep of Lions with 126–108 Victory

The Columbus Wizards closed out a doubleheader sweep with a 126–108 victory over the Memphis Lions, following up their earlier win with another balanced and controlled performance.


After securing a 139–126 win in Game 1, Columbus carried that momentum into the second matchup, delivering a consistent effort on both ends to complete the sweep.


The night also featured another Columbus connection, as Josiah Mobley suited up for Memphis, adding to a game that already included several players with ties to the city.


Columbus shot 51.0 percent (49-of-96) from the field and knocked down 13 three-pointers, while recording 24 assists, continuing to emphasize ball movement and offensive execution.


Jay Farrow led the Wizards with 29 points on 12-of-20 shooting, adding 5 assists and 7 rebounds, continuing his strong performance across both games.


Jaiveon Eaves contributed 23 points, knocking down three three-pointers and providing consistent scoring throughout the contest.


Josiah Fulcher added 20 points and 8 rebounds, while Mat Bingaya delivered 21 points, including three three-pointers, giving Columbus another efficient offensive option.


Michael Davenport controlled the glass with a dominant 16-rebound performance to go along with 16 points and 5 assists, anchoring the interior and helping Columbus maintain possession advantages.


Khiry Shelton added 11 points and 11 rebounds, recording a double-double and contributing defensively with a block.


Memphis was led by Martez Briggs, who finished with 22 points, while KJ Council added 16 points and Xavier Evans contributed 16 points and 8 rebounds.


Zanteous Thornton added 13 points, and Josiah Mobley contributed 10 points and 6 rebounds in his appearance.


Despite a more competitive second matchup, Columbus maintained control through rebounding, ball movement, and consistent scoring runs, limiting Memphis to 46.2 percent shooting and just 4-of-20 (20.0%) from three-point range.


With the win, the Columbus Wizards improve to 5–3 on the season, completing a successful doubleheader and continuing to build momentum.
