Mitchell’s 38 Powers Wizards Past Huskers, 127–123

The Columbus Wizards defeated the Hamilton County Huskers 127–123 in a high-scoring matchup, fueled by a standout offensive performance and efficient scoring across the lineup.

Columbus shot 52.2 percent (47-of-90) from the field and converted 24-of-33 free throws, capitalizing at the line in a game where both teams found consistent rhythm offensively.

Cameron Mitchell led all scorers with 38 points, shooting 12-of-22 from the field, including 5-of-11 from three-point range, while going a perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line. His scoring output anchored the Wizards’ offense throughout the night.

Jay Farrow added 27 points on 10-of-17 shooting and a perfect 5-for-5 from the line, continuing his efficient play while providing scoring in key stretches.

Jaiveon Eaves recorded a 20-point, 11-rebound double-double, contributing across multiple areas and helping stabilize the game on both ends of the floor.

Additional contributions came from RJ Fairrow, who finished with 12 points and 9 rebounds, and Michael Davenport, who added 11 points and 9 rebounds, helping Columbus secure a 52–43 rebounding advantage.

Josiah Fulcher chipped in 9 points, while Mat Bingaya contributed 7 points and 5 rebounds, rounding out a balanced offensive effort.

Hamilton County matched the Wizards offensively, shooting 52.7 percent (48-of-91) from the field and knocking down 13 three-pointers at a 46.4 percent clip.

The Huskers were led by Nate Jordan, who finished with 27 points, while Donoven Carlisle added 26 points and 9 rebounds on 12-of-18 shooting.

Justin Williams contributed 21 points, and Davion Johnson added 17 points, giving Hamilton County consistent scoring throughout the contest.

Despite the Huskers’ offensive efficiency, Columbus maintained control through timely scoring runs and strong free throw shooting, ultimately creating enough separation to secure the win.

With the victory, the Columbus Wizards improve to 2–2 on the season, returning to .500 as they continue to build momentum.
