The Columbus Wizards fell to the Kokomo Bobkats 141–131 in a high-tempo matchup defined by offensive execution and sustained scoring runs.

Kokomo dictated stretches of the game behind efficient shot-making, finishing 54-of-95 (56.8%) from the field and 11-of-22 (50.0%) from three-point range, while generating 33 assists. Their ability to create clean looks consistently allowed them to maintain separation late.

Martavian Payne led the Bobkats with 33 points, while Larry Plummer added 26 points, connecting on five three-pointers. Josh Rivers contributed 20 points, and Noah Harris added 18, as Kokomo produced balanced scoring across the lineup.

For Columbus, the performance of the night came from Jaiveon Eaves, who delivered a dominant offensive display with 45 points and 11 assists on 19-of-34 shooting. He controlled the pace, created offense at all three levels, and kept the Wizards within reach throughout.

Mat Bingaya added 17 points, while Jay Farrow contributed 17 points and 9 rebounds, continuing his steady impact. Josiah Fulcher chipped in 15 points and 6 assists, and Malik London recorded a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds, providing interior presence.

The game also marked the season debut of Marquis Mathis, who joined Columbus after previously spending time with the Memphis Lions earlier this season. Mathis made an immediate impression, finishing with 10 points and 3 rebounds in 19 minutes, showing flashes of his versatility and ability to contribute on both ends.

Columbus shot 48.3 percent (56-of-116) and recorded 28 assists, but Kokomo’s efficiency and ability to limit mistakes in key moments proved decisive.

With the loss, the Columbus Wizards move to 7–7 on the season, as they continue through a competitive stretch.
